NATIONAL NEWS - A light aircraft today made an emergency landing near Hammanskraal, the SAPS confirmed, Rekord North reports.
SAPS spokesperson Sgt Magareth Molane said the plane was forced to make an emergency landing on the N1 highway near Hammanskraal on Wednesday morning.
“It was not immediately clear how many occupants were on board, or whether there were any injuries,” she said.
Motorists shared photographs of the white aircraft, which was parked on the grass median between the north and southbound lanes.
