The contractor for this project, hereby invites applications from experienced small, medium and Micro enterprise (smme's) and cidb grade 1 or higher, as sub-contractors for the package listed below.
Only smme’s within greater oudtshoorn area will be appointed.

Scope of work for local
Sub-contractors:
The objective is to provide basic municipal Infrastructure for upgrading and maintenance of streets and stormwater in the Greater Oudtshoorn.
Description of works:
• General building & concrete works
• Layer works & asphalt
• Stormwater pipes
• Kerbing & paving
• Stone pitching
Required documents:
Potential bidders are required to submit the following attachments when submitting bid documents and failure to do so will lead to disqualification:
• Company profile
• Copy of company registration document
• Original/certified bbbee certificate
• Original tax clearance certificate
• CIDB registration certificate
• Letter of good standing from the department of labour
• Certified copy of id documents of company directors
• Certified joint venture agreements (where applicable)
• Proof of address e.g. Municipal service account
The following enterprises will be considered:
• CIDB'S grades 1 or higher
• SMME'’s throughout the greater oudtshoorn area
Please note: Appointments will not be ward specific as previously advertised.

Submission of tender documents
Tender documents must be submitted on or before Thursday, 29 february 2024 at 12:00 pm, by E-mail to mr. R. Swartz at roberts@transand.net.
No late submissions will be accepted.
Selection of potential bidders
• Successful bidders will be contacted by the Project management team.
• An information briefing will be held with the Shortlisted SMME’s who have submitted their relevant documentation and have met the minimum criteria.
• A maximum of one package will be awarded to a successful bidder.
