The drive saw police and CPF members visiting crime hotspots and distributing flyers to motorists and residents.
The campaign took off at Winterveldt High School on Friday, going door to door.
People were implored to take a stand against crime and to stop folding their hands and watch as crime got out of hand.
Dube police station spokesperson, Sergeant Thembi Nowathe said the idea was to get people to work in partnership with the police.
She urged people not to walk alone at night, especially while under the influence of alcohol.
“We appealed to community members to be on the lookout and alert the police of any criminal activities which occur in their area.”
