LIFESTYLE NEWS - There were superheroes on the streets of Cape Town on Tuesday night.

Hundreds of runners in costumes participated in the 35th Community Chest Twilight Run, which starts at the Grand Parade.

This year's theme was "Be the Superhero in Your Community".

The City of Cape Town's JP Smith says it’s one of Cape Town’s most iconic charity events.

“It brings in significant donations for charities promoting education, health, income generation and community development.”
