BUSINESS NEWS - Cango Wildlife is experiencing one of the most energising periods in its long history. After a few challenging years that tested the entire conservation and tourism world, the ranch feels different. There is growth and purpose, more than ever.
New and improved
Facilities and habitats have undergone meaningful improvements. Kidzone and the Farmyard have been redesigned into a warm, lively space for families.
The new Boa Restaurant, opening in December, has added flavour and character to the centre of the ranch. Walkways, signs, viewing decks and resting points are being upgraded.
Each week brings progress as we move toward our 40-year tenure in 2026.
Our purpose is to make every visit feel thoughtful and engaging. We want guests to sense the care behind each enclosure and every detail of the experience our team has put into this.
Cango Wildlife
Our identity is evolving as well. We are stepping forward as Cango Wildlife. The updated name reflects who we are today and the direction we are choosing for the years ahead.
Our new logo is a respectful evolution of the original one. It honours our history while introducing a style that aligns with the improvements we made.
Driving this momentum, Douglas Eriksen, CEO of Cango Wildlife, recently returned from the global WAZA conference held in Colombia, where he served as a panellist. WAZA brings together leading zoos, aquariums, associations, academics, and wildlife experts to strengthen species conservation and the highest standards of animal care.
The panel explored shifting funding landscapes, global partnership opportunities, and the growing role of technology in long-term sustainability.
Douglas shared insights from Cango Wildlife’s own evolution and highlighted the value of adaptive planning and deeper audience engagement. His participation placed our organisation and region on an international stage.
Commitment to community
Commitment to our community remains paramount.
Our Black Friday promotion on 28 November offers HALF-PRICE Annual Tickets, making regular visits more accessible for local families.
It is our way of expressing gratitude for years of support and an invitation to enjoy the ongoing improvements across the ranch.
Our annual membership remains one of the most valuable ways to experience Cango Wildlife.
Members receive entrance for 365 days a year, early access to selected promotions and events, a complimentary ‘Bring a Friend’ pass, a free ambassador animal connection on their birthday, and a 20% discount on meals in our restaurant and on curio shop purchases.
It also includes reduced rates on kids' parties and events, as well as loyalty rewards for each renewal. With the Black Friday offer cutting the cost in half, this is the ideal moment for families to join our membership community.
As we approach our 40th birthday, we stand in a chapter defined by colour, optimism, and hope. The future feels bright and know the best is yet to come!
