Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini, spokesman for the Gauteng Provincial SAPS, told the GCN that Germiston police officers discovered Nkosi’s vehicle standing in the middle of the road, at the corner of Russel and Wits Rifles roads.
“Upon investigation the police officers found bullet holes in the driver’s side of the vehicle and saw the driver inside,” Dlamini said.
Pine Pienaar, the vice-chairman of the Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF told the GCN that one of the CPF’s patrollers and his wife were on their way home when they stopped behind a Toyota at the intersection.
