Unexpected power outage in the Oudtshoorn district area
Consumers whose electricity supply is on, are requested to use power sparingly to avoid a complete shutdown of the substation.

OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The Municipality has lost two main power supplies to the Unieplein Sub-Station causing power outages in parts of the town. 

Electricians are busy repairing the faulty cables. A contractor is already onsite assisting the Municipal team. 

Consumers whose electricity supply is on, are requested to use power sparingly to avoid a complete shutdown of the substation. 

It is not known yet when the power supply will be restored. We will keep you posted should there be any developments.
