BUSINESS NEWS - The owner of Health@Work, Sr Soekie Mulder, has been rendering occupational health services for 20 years.
She holds a BA degree in Nursing and an Honours degree in Occupational Health, and has completed various courses in the field. She began her career as occupational healthcare practitioner in 2006 and founded Health@Work in 2011.
"We currently have consulting rooms in Oudtshoorn, Swellendam and Laingsburg, but render services countrywide. We started with only five clients in 2011 and now have 386 registered clients.
Our permanent team consists of two registered nursing professionals and two technicians. Attending to as many as 500 people per month means that we also utilise the services of locums and a medical doctor qualified in occupational health," Mulder said.
Health@Work provides services in 16 different categories to ensure that employees and employers work under safe conditions and remain compliant with rules and regulations pertaining to occupational health.
Some of these services are medical fitness certification, drug testing, lung function testing, health risk assessment, audiometric testing and medical waste management, to name only a few.
Health@Work renders its services with minimal administrative or productive interruption to its clients.
"We invite business owners and organisations to contact us by WhatsApp, telephone or email to convey their specific needs. We then supply a quote and arrange details for consultations and services in a manner that has as little impact on productivity as possible," assures Mulder.
