INTERNATIONAL NEWS - Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has made his first public appearance in Harare since the military seized power in his country.
He is said to be attending a graduation ceremony at a university in the capital.
Mugabe has been under house arrest since Wednesday, after an early morning announcement of a purge of so-called criminals around him by the Zimbabwean military.
