De Rustica bags 4 gold medals

OUDTSHOORN NEWS - De Rustica Olive Estate near De Rust was awarded four gold medals for its extra virgin olive oils at the SA Olive Awards last week. 

Eight judges had 93 oils to judge and De Rustica came out tops. General Manager of De Rustica, Joop Steenkamp, attributes the awards to hard work, diligence, cleanliness and personal attention to harvesting and production by an extremely dedicated team of employees. 

The dedication of the workers has also reflected two weeks ago at an awards ceremony to honour agricultural workers and De Rustica was named best farm in the Klein Karoo.
