We are an NPO which keeps children positively and constructively occupied by offering them the chance to play golf.
These are children who may never otherwise have had the chance to swing a golf club.
Through Kingswood Golf Estate in George and Woodmead Pro Shop in Johannesburg 15 sets of second hand golf clubs and second hand shoes have been donated to us to distribute to young golfers.
O'Brian Barber, through his company, MoreGolf, facilitated this donation. O'Brian negotiated with the golf pro shops to get the equipment. He is the main sponsor.
We thank the Mossel Bay Golf Club and its manager Graeme Viljoen for the use of the premises and we thank Liesel Niehaus, the general manager of golf at Kingswood Golf Estate for Kingswood's support. Mossies Golf operates throughout the Southern Cape.
Our role is also to negotiate reduced rates for golfers at clubs and to coach people in golf.
