Stage 3: Cape Pioneer Trek
The Team Spur/Red-E combination of Alan Hatherly and Matt Beers sprinted to victory on stage three of the Momentum Health Cape Pioneer Trek on Tuesday, the 17 October. Their female compatriots were not able to match their winning streak however, as Team Ascendis Health raced to their first stage win of the race crossing the finish line, in George, first in the elite women’s competition.
