Vroulike personeel van provinsiale-verkeer, plaaslike verkeer, wetstoepassing, Korrektiewe-dienste en die Suid-Afrikaanse weermag, immigrasie, toerisme en plaaslike polisie neem vanoggend, 1 Augustus deel aan 'n massa padblokkade as deel van Vrouemaand.Petro Swanepoel, hoof van verkeer in Beaufort-Wes het kortliks die vroue toegespreek. Die burgemeester van Oudtshoorn-munisipaliteit, Johan Allers is ook teenwoordig.
