DE RUST-NUUS - Meiringspoort, die hooftoegangsroete vanuit die noorde na die Klein-Karoo gaan onbepaald gesluit wees. Die skrikwekkende vloed, wat verlede week deur die poort gebruis het, het nie soos met vorige vloede hier en daar ernstige skade aangerig en die pad versper nie, dit het grootskaalse verwoesting gesaai.
