WATER SPORT NEWS - The South African swimming team has made the country proud at the 14th Fina World Swimming Championships (25m) in Hangzhou, China, bringing home a total of seven medals (three gold, two silver and two bronze), three African records and two Championship records.
Cameron van der Burgh concluded the competition on a high note, bagging the gold in his final 50m breaststroke race with a new Championship record time of 25.41 ahead of Belarus’ Ilya Shymanovich in 25.77 and Brazil’s Felipe Lima in 25.80.
