PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The 34th annual Trans Agulhas Challenge got going today, Wednesday 28 December, with the first stage of the race setting off at 08:00 this morning.
Hosted every year by Agulhas Inflatable Boat Club (AIBC) and considered to be the 'World's Toughest Inflatable Boat Challenge', the Trans Agulhas starts every year on 28 December in Plettenberg Bay.
A fast-paced, action-packed water sports event, over 40 inflatable boats take part in the race and battle it out in the waves over the course of four stages.
