OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Eden Football Academy (EFA) in partnership with the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, Jakaranda Catering & Events, Spekbos NPO and Alte Försterei, hosted the u.15 Nelson Mandela Youth Cup tournament on Saturday 20 July in Lategansvlei.
Odn Tigers was the winners and Altetico was the runners-up. The tournament was to uphold the legacy of Nelson Mandela by edifying the youth about these historic times. EFA will endeavour to run this tournament annually within the surrounding communities.
The teams that participated was: Atletico, Aqua/Rising Stars, Bongolethu Primary, Lategansvlei, Oudtshoorn Tigers and Unicorns FC.

The EFA thanked the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality and Ian Laubscher for the sponsors, as well as Jakaranda Catering & Events, Spekbos, Luzette Reuter and friends, Sybil Schoombee and the EFA coaches/teams and officials on the day. They also thanked Dario Urbanski and his wife Carmen for being great hosts at the Alte Försterei Stadium-Lategansvlei.
