CRICKET NEWS - Mossel Bay (199/4) continued their impressive form when they defeated Sussex (195/7) by six wickets in a high-scoring match.
Gerrit Badenhorst (69*) and Jan-Hendrik Marx (68) were the batting heroes for Mossel Bay as they surpassed the target in the 45th over.
It is now confirmed that Sussex will be relegated to the Promotion League next season.
Pacaltsdorp United 201/7 (in 42 overs) booked themselves a place in the Six Gun Grill Premier League final on 21 March after a resounding 131-run partnership against Union Stars (70 all out) on Saturday.
This was thanks to a valuable innings by Franco Geldenhuys (70).
