CRICKET NEWS - Six cricketers from the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers Women's team will be in action in the upcoming Cricket South Africa Women's Super League T20 tournament at Newlands in Cape Town from 12-16 December.

Martelize van der Merwe will be the head coach of Coronations - one of the four teams in the league. 

Tazmin Brits, Mieke de Ridder, Khayakazi Mathe and Jané Winster form part of the Starlight's squad while Miceala Andrews and Annerie Dercksen are included in the squad of the Thistles.

The SA u.19s will be the fourth team. This tournament will be a last opportunity for players to stake a claim in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup hosted in South Africa in early 2023.
