Inspiration behind the Josty Trail Run
The Josty Trail Run is inspired by Swiss extreme athlete Adrian Josty, whose remarkable endurance achievements have captivated many. This year marked the fourth edition of the event hosted at Lategansvlei.
Josty famously completed the Jungfrau Marathon in Switzerland 31 times in 31 consecutive days, each time finishing in 6 hours and 30 minutes, an unusual but highly impressive accomplishment. His efforts were driven by a mission to raise funds for children in South Africa, a cause that has fostered a strong and enduring bond between him, Dario Urbanski, and the Lategansvlei community.
