GEORGE NEWS - With a turnout of more than 500 athletes, the 2024 Madibaz George Forest Run took place on Saturday morning, 7 September from Nelson Mandela University's George campus and included 21,1km, 10km and 5km races.
The athletes could not ask for better running conditions.
In the 21km open category, it was our very own Lloyd Bosman who took the win in a time of 1:11:36. He did not compete in last year's event, and was back with a vengeance.
Selwyn Matthews came in just behind him in a time of 1:11:41, and in third place was Willard Jussah in 1:14:44. All three athletes showed off in their green Nedbank kit.
