Earlier this year, during the State of the Nation Address, President Zuma urged South Africans including the private sector and government departments to save electricity.
The Department of Public Works has also been instructed to ensure that all government-owned buildings are energy efficient. The President will thus launch the Presidency and government-wide energy saving campaign
