Pub defends bouncer who allegedly beat patron to death
NATIONAL NEWS - Management at a popular Krugersdorp pub have come to the defence of a bouncer who has been arrested for allegedly beating a customer to death.

On Monday, police took statements from staff at the pub who witnessed the fist fight on Saturday night.

Lime Lite Pub & Grill management are expected to hand over CCTV footage to police investigators today, which may give authorities more clarity on the circumstances surrounding the beating of a 38-year-old father.

Manager Wilma Sammons says although she wasn't present on Saturday night her staff gave her details about what happened.

“It wasn’t really a fight. This guy was looking for [trouble] the whole night with everyone.”
