Knysna woman on the mend after dog attack

KNYSNA NEWS - Since she was attacked by dogs, Knysna's Nadine Rodeom (43) has gone through the most horrific ordeal of having her left arm amputated above the elbow, and has had several operations to clean out terrible dog bites on her other arm, back and even legs, but she has also been surrounded by the love of family and the local community. And Rodeom is slowly recovering.

She was bitten by two boerboels on May 21 while visiting family in Elarduspark, Pretoria and then began the nightmare, but the latest news received by the Knysna-Plett Herald from the family is positive.

Rodeom's mother, deputy mayor Esme Edge and her partner Julie Seton, said this week that they were totally "blown away by the level of support we have encountered from the entire Knysna Community".
