NATIONAL NEWS - Daniël Janse van Rensburg arrived back in George tonight at 18:17. His closest family, wife, Melanie, daughter, Abigail, mother Martha and father Hennie were allowed to wait for him at the entry to the luggage collection hall.
The moment they spotted him walking towards the airport mother and daughter erupted and the screams could be heard all around. Hennie and Martha stood sobbing, knowing that their only child was finally home.
Once he stepped through the door Melanie and Abigail clung to him so tightly that nothing on earth was able to prise them apart. Martha and Hennie joined the group hug and the four members of the Janse van Rensburg family stood sobbing with joy and absolute relief.
