NATIONAL NEWS - Some residents of Fourways View residential complex were allegedly coerced into buying compost from five men who were occupants of a red Ford pickup truck.
Rhona Rakow of Trafalgar Property Management, which is letting out the 38-unit complex in Macbeth Avenue, told Fourways Review that the men told the security personnel at the gate that they were looking for the caretaker of the building.
“Once inside, they started emptying their compost in the residents’ gardens before demanding R100 payments,” said Rakow.
One resident, who requested anonymity, said she watched the men driving to her unit before emptying their compost on her plants.
