LADISMITH NEWS - Concern is mounting in Ladismith following the disappearance of two young girls who were last seen on Monday, 8 June.
According to information circulated by The Pink Ladies Organisation, Meronique van Niekerk (11) and Keysha Latell (13), were reported missing after leaving home early on Monday morning.
At approximately 06:00, Meronique went to Keysha’s home and the pair then left at around 07:30 without informing anyone. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
Family members fear the girls may have travelled to Albertinia or possibly a nearby river, although this has not been confirmed.
Meronique is described as being 11 years old, with a slender build, brown eyes and blue braided hair. She was reportedly wearing a white shirt and black top when last seen.
Keysha, has a medium build, brown eyes and black medium-length hair. Her clothing at the time of her disappearance is unknown.

Authorities have reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a person missing. The investigation is ongoing.
