GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service has issued a very hot to extremely hot and uncomfortable weather advisory for parts of the Western Cape and Northern Cape on Sunday, 22 February.
Extremely hot and humid conditions are expected in areas over the Garden Route and Central Karoo.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach the high 30s and low 40s in some places, with increased humidity making conditions feel hotter and more uncomfortable.
Residents are advised to stay well hydrated, avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day, and take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
