Update

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - After overnight rockfall caused Meiringspoort to be temporarily closed today, the clean-up is entering its final stage. 

The road is expected to reopen at approximately 16:00 today.

Motorists have been advised that debris and sand may still be present, which could result in slippery conditions.

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and adhere to all temporary speed restrictions and signage once the road is reopened.
