GEORGE NEWS - Three provincial traffic officers sustained minor injuries during an accident on the Outeniqua Pass this morning, Monday 26 October.

According to Jandré Bakker, spokesperson for the provincial traffic department, the accident occurred in misty conditions.

"All three officers in the vehicle were taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash occurred on the Outeniqua Pass. None were seriously injured," he said.

"An investigation into the incident will follow to determine the cause of the crash."
