GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Lesotho received snow yesterday, Tuesday 22 July and according to Snow Report, snowfall is possible for all South African provinces this coming weekend.
The snow is expected to be very low level across most of the country and in many areas, it may be a combination of rain, sleet or snow and may melt quickly or not even settle on the ground.
Either way, the forecast for the coming weekend is cold and wet.
Here's what you can expect weather-wise today:
Western Cape:
Western Cape residents can expect partly cloudy weather with morning mist or fog patches over the northern and south-western parts; otherwise, it will be fine and cool to warm. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected over the extreme northeastern parts in the afternoon.
Eastern Cape (western half):
The day will start with morning fog in places over the interior; otherwise, it will be fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the north.
Eastern Cape (eastern half):
