GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Skål International Garden Route held its year-end function at Oubaai Hotel Golf & Spa on 21 November.
The over 60 guests were all role players from the Tourism Industry. Andrew Rogers, President of Skål International Garden Route, presented an overview of the International Skål congress, which he recently attended in Mombasa, Kenya.
Niel Els, Junior Vice President on the Skål International Board, boasted that, for the first time in Skål's history of 84 years, there are now two South Africans in top Skål management. Alewijn Dippenaar did a presentation on the momentum which Adventure Tourism is experiencing in the Garden Route, especially after the successful Adventure Tourism Summit.
