GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In preparation for the upcoming festive season, the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) is actively engaged in road surface repairs along the N2.
The maintenance work in Sedgefield commenced today, 21 November.
Unfortunately, due to the configuration of Traffic Medians on both sides of the N2 in the Wilderness section, a single-lane closure or diversion is not feasible.
Consequently, a Stop and Go system will be implemented to facilitate the successful completion of remedial works.
The roadworks, aimed at enhancing the road surface, are expected to be concluded by Thursday evening, 23 November.
SANRAL acknowledges and apologises for any inconvenience caused by the resulting traffic congestion during this period.
