Planning for the district underway
The planning event is being held at the Premier Hotel in Knysna.

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A strategic planning session hosted by Garden Route District Municipality (GRDM) is underway at the Premier Hotel in Knysna. It will conclude tomorrow, Friday 21 April.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the strategic direction the municipality will take to achieve its objectives.

Items on the agenda include the municipal economic review outlook, the growth and development strategy implementation plan, sustainable energy transition, as well as the sustainable energy transition. 

The draft amended integrated development plan and the draft budget will also be discussed.

Council, management and staff as well as local municipal representatives are present at the two-day event.
