OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The Oudtshoorn Municipality has lost another colleague last week.
Martin Conradie worked at the municipality since 2017 in the technical department. He passed away on Friday 5 February 2022.
Chad Louw, Executive Mayor of the Greater Oudtshoorn, and Walter Hendricks, Acting Municipal Manager, wishes to express their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones on behalf of the municipality. “Our deep thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult and very emotional time,” said Louw.
His colleagues and supervisor were shocked and saddened when they learned of the passing of Martin.
His supervisor, Sinovuyo Mgqweto, said that she had known him since 2017 when he started working at the municipality. "Mr. Conradie was a dedicated and trustworthy employee who was passionate about his work and always eager to learn. He made a stable contribution to our department in a short period. I was honoured and humbled to have him on my team. We share in this sorrow with his loved ones. He has left a vacuum that will be felt by many of his colleagues. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed and remembered for his contagious smile, humbleness, and humility.” said Mgqweto.
