MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Please note that the exit from the N2 to Hartenbos is closed for upgrading purposes. 

The project involves the construction of a new traffic circle for the interchange's western direction - to Cape Town - south of the N2, which will also provide access to the new filling station and, in the future, the new Hartland Estate.

The construction period will last until approximately 3 December 2021.

The interchange's west direction leg (to Cape Town - south of N2) is closed for this period, but access for residents is on the DR6804, so the DR6804 is not closed.

The interchange's east direction leg (to George - north of the N2) is not affected and, therefore, remains open.

Road signs inform motorists on the N2 (western direction - to Cape Town) of the road closure at the Klein Brak River exit. 

The detour to Hartenbos and Oudtshoorn is via the R102 (MR344) through Riverside.

Let asseblief daarop dat die afrit vanaf die N2 na Hartenbos gesluit is vir opgradering. Die projek behels die konstruksie van ‘n nuwe verkeersirkel vir die wisselaar se westelike rigting - na Kaapstad - suid van N2, wat ook toegang bied na die nuwe vulstasie en in die toekoms na die nuwe Hartland Landgoed.
Die konstruksieperiode sal tot ongeveer 3 Desember 2021 duur. Die wisselaar se westelike rigting been (na Kaapstad - suid van N2) is gesluit vir hierdie periode, maar toegang vir inwoners word steeds op die DR6804 gegee, die DR6804 is dus nie gesluit nie.
Die wisselaar se oostelike rigting been (na George - noord van die N2) word nie geraak nie en bly dus oop.
Padgebruikers op die N2 (westelike rigting na Kaapstad) word voor en by die Kleinbrakrivier afrit ingelig. Die ompad na Hartenbos en Oudtshoorn is via die R102 (MR344) deur Riverside.
