GARDEN ROUTE AND KLEIN KAROO NEWS - Uniondale police opened a culpable homicide investigation in the aftermath of a tragic accident on the R62, Welgelegen near Uniondale.
The incident, which occurred on Friday 8 March, at 09:50, resulted in the loss of a motorbike rider's life.
According to preliminary reports, both the motorbike and a white Suzuki LDV were traveling in the same direction when the collision transpired. The motorbike collided with the side of the LDV.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel.
