MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Unconfirmed reports have been received of a light aircraft that allegedly fell near Ruiterbos, Mossel Bay earlier today.
However, confirmation is awaited by local authorities.
According to information, the aircraft took-off from George Airport earlier this afternoon. Approximately half an hour later, it was no longer visible on the radar.
Mossel Bay Advertiser journalist, Jannie du Plessis is on the scene and says a search has been launched. Three helicopters are assisting in the search.
