SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - Spring is in the air and the Little Karoo is awash with pink and white blossoms.
September is the time of year that the deciduous fruit trees like apricot, peach and plum are in full bloom, a wonderful sight to behold.
Spring blossoms traditionally mark the start of the season for the fruit and wine industries.
Anneri Mouton of Red Fox Design, who recently did a photoshoot with Miss Junior Teen SA, Monique Best, said, "The blossoms were good, but I think they will be at their very best this weekend: a blaze of colour and a photographer's dream."
It might be a good idea to take your camera and lenses to capture the splendour. Pink and white blossoms, warm Little Karoo hospitality and a De Krans and Boplaas festival weekend.
Both De Krans and Boplaas present various activities during their spring festivals this weekend of 2 and 3 September.
