GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The popular Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival will take place between 29 June and 8 July, an ideal winter break for the whole family.

The premium sport-and-lifestyle festival really offers winter activities for everyone: the country's top cycling and road-running events; fun-filled quality family holidays; spectacular natural scenery and thrilling adventure options, and it's a veritable paradise for those looking to indulge in world-famous Knysna oysters with a glass of bubbly!

Local restaurants will be offering delicious food and drink from themed menus, while a variety of concerts, comedy, fashion shows, as well as an adventure-filled programme for the little ones at the Momentum Health Kiddies Area will keep everyone busy.

Mountain bike events will take place on Saturday 30 June, with 80km, 50km, 30km, and 15km routes, in addition to the newer 30km E-bike race.

The Momentum Knysna Cycle Tour on Sunday 1 July offers a 115km and 50km route. 

In an exciting development this year, the Momentum Knysna Cycle Tour has confirmed that the 115km road race and the 80km and 50km mountain bike races will be seeding qualifying events for the 2019 Cape Town Cycle Tour.

The Momentum Knysna Forest Marathon & Half Marathon will take place on Saturday 7 July. Knysna Tourism's #Knysnarises campaign has helped to ensure that the very special town is ready for you. Come support the community and enjoy 10 days of fun and adventure.
