OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The Oudtshoorn Youth Café held its second annual Miss Youth Café on 24 March.
With the focus on female matriculants from the greater Oudtshoorn, the competition, as well as prizes, were designed specifically for their needs.
The winner's prizes included a De Jagers voucher, a complete hair and make-up makeover sponsored by Maahirah’s Hair Studio, a matric farewell photo shoot from Reflekt Model Management, a vehicle sponsored by Du Plessis Motors (Volkswagen) as well as a dress sponsored by Clementine’s.
The first princess received a hair wash and blow dry from Maahirah’s Hair Studio as well as a shopping voucher from Your Wardrobe. The second princess received a voucher from Christa’s Beauty Salon and a wash and blow from Maahirah’s Hair Studio. The princesses also received a shopping voucher from De Jagers.
Lavista Agulhas was crowned as Miss Oudtshoorn Youth Café 2018, Nadine Rhenier is the first princess and the second princess is Tyra Willemse. Janine Steyn was crowned as Miss Personality.
Ray Carstens, the manager of Oudtshoorn Youth Cafe, thanked all the participants as well as the sponsors: Wilck Spar, Reflekt Model Management, Maahirah’s Hair Studio, Du Plessis Motors (Volkswagen), De Jagers, Danny B Entertainment Productions, Christa’s Beauty Salon, Your Wardrobe, Oudtshoorn Blommemark and Clementine’s.
