OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Kirsty Jones, who lives in the United Kingdom, appealed to Oudtshoorn Courant in an effort to find information about the birth mother of her grandmother.
She supplied the following information:
Her grandmother was Irene Johanna Catherina Steyn born on 28 June 1943. She was named by her adoptive parents in Oudtshoorn, Frederick Stephanus Steyn and Catherina Johanna Steyn (neé Bezuidenhout).
Kristy says she has tried everything to find her grandmother’s birth mother. All she has to go on a photograph of her grandmother’s birth mother called Kitty who later married a man called Petrus.
