OUDTSHOORN NEWS - The Oudtshoorn Municipality has announced a series of Mayoral Imbizos where residents will have the opportunity to comment on the draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and the draft municipal budget for the 2026/2027 financial year.
The draft IDP and budget were tabled and considered by Council during a council meeting held on 7 April.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meetings in their respective wards to engage directly with municipal leadership and provide input on service delivery priorities, development planning and budget allocations.

The municipality has urged residents to attend these important meetings and actively participate in shaping the municipality’s development priorities.
Residents who are unable to attend may still submit their comments and inputs via the municipality’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/oudtmun) or by email to [email protected] or [email protected] within 21 working days from the commencement of the meetings.
