Bestmed-straatmyl lewer droommyl op
Die Eden Bestmed-straatmylreeks het Saterdag vir groot opwinding gesorg toe Jerry Motsau in ‘n breekdeel van ‘n sekonde ‘n droommyl net onder die vier minute gehardloop het. Motsau het die eerste van die drie bene van die straatmylreeks in ‘n tyd van 3:59.81 gewen, met Amos Nyonga 4:00.61) tweede en George Kusche (4:01.33) derde. Die fietsry-straatmyl is deur Louis Visser (jnr.) gewen.
