33 atlete lê tydtoetse af
Met 33 atlete wat aan die week se Nedbank-atletieklubtydtoetse deelgeneem het, was die fokus grotendeels op die 3 km-atlete. Slegs vyf van die 33 atlete het Maandag 2 Oktober die 5 km-tydtoets afgelê. Francois Verwey het dié tydtoets in die vinnigste tyd van 21:35 voltooi.
