Number 8 Whiteley replaces the experienced Duane Vermeulen, who has left the Springbok camp after suffering an elbow injury, while Combrinck, man of the match in last week’s win over the Irish, gets the starting nod over Lwazi Mvovo, who now moves to the bench.
The other two changes to the bench include the uncapped pair of Steven Kitshoff and Jaco Kriel, they will look to make the debuts on Saturday having been with the squad throughout the series.
Former Stormer’s Prop Kitshoff has replaced Trevor Nyakane who was ruled out earlier in the week due to an ankle injury, while flanker Kriel has got his Super Rugby form rewarded and will look to make an impact off the bench with his dynamic style of play.
