OUDTSHOORN NEWS - Infantry FC from Oudtshoorn took on Ammar Sports Academy from Cape Town on Saturday 23 November on the Infantry School's home field.
The hotly contested match ended with a 1 - 1 draw.
Mthokozisi Maseko from Infantry FC scored a goal in the 49th minute just after the halftime break. The lead did not last long until Ahmed Fu'aad of Ammar equalised with a careless mistake by Infantry FC's defending line from a corner kick.
Trout Nataniel was shown the marching orders. Although it was an advantage for Infantry School, things did not pay off, but the team was all over the players of Ammar.
Infantry FC missed about four good scoring chances in the dying minutes of the game as they could not convert. The teams shared the spoil.
