OUDTSHOORN NEWS - In a gripping clash at the Infantry School Sportsground on Saturday 26 April, the senior team of Infantry School FC delivered a standout performance against Hanover Park FC who are the current log leaders of the ABC Motsepe League with 46 points.
The match kicked off at 14:00 and kept spectators on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
Despite Hanover Park's top-tier status, they were unable to find the back of the net.
Infantry School FC, showing great determination and skill, came close to scoring on multiple occasions they couldn't quite convert those chances and the team walked away with a hard-fought 0 - 0 draw that felt like a win in its own right.
The squad's cohesion and tactical discipline were clear indicators of the positive impact made by newly appointed head coach, Ricardo Williams.
Infantry School FC will next face Beaufort West FC on 3 May at Rustdene Stadium.
