OUDTSHOORN CRICKET NEWS - Nine SWD Cricket umpires were awarded for their dedication towards the sport.
The annual awards function was held in George on the 23 June.
Lawrence Matroos, Cricket South Africa, and Jean Neethling, SWD cricket umpire association chairman, also attended the function.
Recipients of awards were:
- Innus Rademan (Reserve league winner)
- Desmond Anthony (Women's and Premier league runner-up)
- Hennie Pieterse (Promotion league winner)
- Owen Gelderbloem (Reserve league runner-up)
- Hein Diemont (Administrator of the year)
- Jacobus le Roux (Keenest umpire of the year)
- André Olivier (Premier league winner)
- Lorenzo Preissex (Most improved umpire and promotion league runner-up)
- Reagan Booysen (Women's league winner).
