SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - SWD will conclude their program for the 2014/15 season this weekend when they host KwaZulu Natal at the REC in Oudtshoorn.
With both teams out of contention for any silverware there will be a lot of pride at stake for the home team who slipped to the 4th place in Pool A on the Sunfoil Three Day Cup log. In the One Day competition SWD is bottom of the log in Pool A (two victories out of five matches) but they can climb to the fourth place with a victory against the men from Durban.
Hard-hitting Christiaan Jonker from the Chevrolet Warriors will be available for SWD and will certainly boost the strength of the team. Marcello Piedt and Hanno Kotze will both got a run in the three day format and they will be hungry to proof a point.
The team for the Three Day match is Ross McMillan, Waldo Lategan, Luthando Mnyanda, Sammy-Joe Avontuur, Christiaan Jonker, Pieter Stuurman, Hanno Kotze, Siyabonga Booi, Lonwabo Rodolo, Marcello Piedt and Gurshwin Rabie.
Erinn Ewerts, Brendon Louw, Neil Hornbuckle, Otneill Baartma and Douglas Baartman will be added for the limited over match.
